While Clan Darkriver thrives on the commerce and silt of the lowlands, Clan Frostwalker is the jagged edge of Orcish society. They reside in the High-Reach Peaks, where the air is thin and the "Void-Chill" leaks through the world's crust more frequently.
They don't see themselves as "residents" of the mountains; they see themselves as the Sentinels of the Ceiling.
The Frostwalkers believe that if the mountain peaks ever crumble, the sky will literally fall into the prison. They are a culture of asceticism, endurance, and terrifying vertical mobility.
- Appearance: They are leaner than Darkriver orcs, with pale, bluish-grey skin and hair often bleached white by the high-altitude sun. They dress in the thick furs of Frost-Drakes and use crampons made of bone.
- The Philosophy of the Peak: They hold the other clans in slight contempt, viewing the Darkriver’s trade as "softness." To a Frostwalker, the only thing that matters is how much cold a heart can withstand before it breaks.
