A volcano located amid the Crags mountain range, situated to the northeast of the city of Neverwinter on the Sword Coast North, deep in Neverwinter Wood.
In 1451 DR, Mount Hotenow erupted, taking out a big chunk of the city of Neverwinter and destroying the nearby town of Thundertree.
