Toblen was the owner of the Stonehill Inn, where he worked with his wife, Trilena, and young son, Pip. His business was terrorized by the Redbrand Bandits until The Party kicked them out of town. His frustration for the then-townmaster Harbin Wester's inaction toward the ruffians soured their relationship.
