Davrin is the local locksmith, but also runs a sort of orphanage with is husband Smoonzick, for runaways and those without parents who stumble into Amphail. Although the orphanage is run less like an orphanage and more like adopting and raising each child as their own.
Davrin has a short-fuse and has broken more than one lock when trying to fix it, but as he replaces them for free, most clients are happy for his services regardless. His face grows red when he is angry, and he is often seen stomping away from his home or a project to take a calming walk in the woods. Even with his temper, he has never raised a hand or voice to anyone in his family or in the community.
