With an arc-like shape, the mountains located northwest of Waterdeep and Southwest of Triboar are said to be filled with Hobgoblins, orcs and trolls, but none of these have been great threats in recent years.
In fact, it is in the foothills of these mountains that the city of Phandalin now begins to prosper after the reopening of Wave Echo Caves thanks to Gundren Rockseeker and and a group of brave adventurers.
