The School of Herbalism occupies the second half of the central greenhouse, with itself being the most functional greenhouse of them all. This school focuses on how to turn plants into more useful things, the proper techniques of plant harvesting, and the dangers of herbalism. Many apothecaries and medicine-men pass through this school, learning how to make simple medicines for helping with wounds, but also simple poisons for dealing with minor rodents. While there are many sages who staff the school, the head of the School of Herbalism is Archsage Javarn Baldithas.
The portion of the greenhouse that the School of Herbalism is a perfectly functional greenhouse, both in all the classrooms, but also in the hallways. The vast majority of the walls being covered in windows, allowing anyone to see into the classrooms. There are large planters everywhere, with many of the tables used as desks having root crops or low growing plants embedded in the centre of them. There are dozens of hanging plant pots with hanging plants, and in a good portion of the rooms, there's an entire wall of planter boxes growing plants that all work together as companion plants.
