If polders are known for being sneaky and conniving, then goblins are that reputation made manifest.

Ibrahim Cyporten, Archsage of Society

It's believed that goblins followed the elves from Faerie during the Fey Run. They are beings of pure fae chaos, but after generations of existing on Consarcio, many have abandoned their more chaotic tendencies. Though many struggle with restraining their intrusive thoughts and desires, many goblins struggle with kleptomania.

Goblins can be found everywhere across Consarcio, small clans in most, if not all, environments. Though they are much less common amongst mixed societies, but when they are, they tend to find easy work. Many goblins within the Cog Plains of Vinado work as engineers, repairing large machinery with their naturally agile form. Or perhaps they use their stealthy nature working as game hunters or private investigators.

The Corrupted Fae

The goblins of Consarcio come from the same place as elves, Faerie. Goblins were once a prosperous race within Faerie, coming from the same common ancestor as Redcaps and Fairies to some extent. But an archfey deep within the bogs and swamps of the feywild gathered a tribe of these ancient fey and corrupted them, turning their skin a vibrant green shade, the hair on the males falling out and the female's hair turns a deep forest green, their eyes turning a bright golden yellow.

This corruption warped their minds, corrupting them to strive in chaos, a lot of goblins have jittery ticks and tend to be fidgety in every day situations. When the elves came to Consarcio during the Fey Run, so came the goblins and the other goblinoids. And due to prolongued exposure to the balance within Consarcio, most of this corruption has waned, but a lot of the ramifications still linger.
