Many scholars detail that there are three distinct kinds of grimwight found across the world. The most common is known as the "house grimwight", these tend to take the appearance of more common house cats. You'll find them in varietals of solid colours, bi-coloured, tabby, tortoiseshell, tuxedo, and more. Their features are very cat-like, having paws, tails, and purely feline faces. The second most common are known as "wild grimwight", not because they're uncivilised, but rather they tend to look like species of wild cats.
The appearance of a wild grimwight tends to be heavily influenced by the regions they live in. A wild grimwight found in more arid, savannah-like environments might look more like a tiger or cheetah. While a wild grimmwight found in a jungle or rain forest might look more like a jaguar or leopard. The least common of the grimwight are known as "human grimwight", the reason being, they look human except for a few cat-like features. These human grimwight often just have cat-like ears, a tail, or even whiskers.
