Deep Solace

Deep Solace is the holy day of Lazyir, the Stone Chiseler, it is mainly a Dwarven holiday, though almost all of his followers celebrate it. His devout followers spend much of the day in isolation. They focus on how to be a better family member and the actual meaning of family itself. The idea behind it is to figure out the meaning of true devotion to oneself and how to use that to enhance others lives. Most Dwarves spend this time doing the opposite of those followers, they spend their time feasting and drinking, as Dwarves do. They spend time with their extended family, it is a time of celebration for them, and not one of sadness and thought.
