Quite frequently, a revenant is nigh indestinguishable from how they looked prior to their death, except for one, or more differences. Often times, a revenant appears as though they have undergone pallor mortis, their skin becoming deathly pale. The other more common symptom is algor mortis, they become cool to the touch, unable to generate any body heat.
One of the less common signs is permanently bloodshot eye, any wounds across their body are unable to naturally close requiring suturing or magic. Additionally, their natural bodily functions are slowed, their heart beating only about 10 times in a minute.
