Weather and Climate Change

The rapid and constant progression of climate change has led to continued temperature extremes around the globe. Winters are colder and snowier, Summers are hotter and wetter. The seas have risen between 4-6 feet, so anything that used to be on a barrier island is now under water, and most coastal cities and towns are either partially submerged or protected by levees and seawalls. The excavation and construction of the levees and seawalls is a joint project between Icarus Expeditions, which handles the excavations (and obviously keeps anything interesting they might find) and Golden Spark, which provides the robotics and materials for the construction.
