Arriving at the outskirts of Unknown the party finds a city on edge. At the request of Unknown they are secreted into the city and after a day of rest and requisition the party gathers in the shadowed alleys awaiting council with Unknown, High Mage of Silverymoon. Having delved deep under the Halls of Unknownand deeper still into the activities of the resurgent Unknown, the party has emerged from underneath Unknown with information that aligns with a dire need of a trusted member of Unknown—UnknownWindshorn. The party is tasked with accompanying Votig to Unknown, the home of her ancestors and a purported link to a shrine defending Unknownfrom Unknown's resurgence.
Utilizing high magicks and the use of a teleportation circle the party arrives at Unknown, a metropolitan city state and ancient dwarven stronghold providing both passage down the Unknown as well as into the tundra wastelands to Unknown and the further north. As Unknown emerges from the circle he is greeted with anticipation as it is rumored that his shocking pink locks can be of only Unknown descent. Nevermind the rumors, the party ventures north to Unknown with a troop of dwarven clerics and members of Unknown at their side.
After a brief waylay by a tribe of Yeti the party arrives at Raven Rock and begins the ritual of accompanying Unknown on her journey to take up the mantle of the Ashwarden—a guardian between this plane and that of the Shadowfell. To her dismay and, as she prepares the ritual, Votig faces resistance from the prior Ashwarden. With the party’s help Votig overcomes the resistance and ascends to her rightful station. Before her ascendence Votig gifts Unknown with her ancestral armor—The Armor of the Wolf Mother—and her blessing for the party to enter the Unknown.
As the party makes their way through the twilit realm they part with their dear comrades—Paws, Valon, Harvey, Nin, Kas, and Searos—who head toward the Tower of Memories and a whole other task altogether. Meanwhile Unknown, Unknown, Unknown, Unknown, and Unknown travel the path of dusk and into the shadows beyond…
