Several times over the past couple weeks,. months, ages, there has been no response from Kelemvor.
After 30 min, the fire is sputtering and suddenly SNOW!
snow everywhere, piling up. Everyone but Ivy is asleep.
Ivy feels a tugging at her mind.
Not a natural storm. too localized
Religion background tells Ivy that some creatures or deities can target things like this.
Ivy brings out her candle and concentrates on the pull in her mind. She prays and her candle flares up. Footsteps behind her softly. someone talks to her about praying to the wrong deity. Valon says this. Valon mentions the lady winter aka the raven queen. Ivy follows Valon somewhere.
A tall hooded figure in the snow shows with a scythe!
Valon kneels down and says this is not his conversation and she is not in danger.
A huge white wolf pushes Ivy forward.
Pale white translucent skin, otherworldly beauty. The raven queeen!!!!
She says she comes on behalf of kelemvor who is not in a good state.
the untimely arrival of merkul has challenged his status. The natural order of death is no longer guaranteed.
Raven queen and kelemvor have an understadning.
Kelemvor doesn’t have the strength to respond to her.
Kelemvor needs a real champion in this world to rekindle the faith in him.
Ivy accepts this difficult task wholeheartledyl (rebuild shrines, refaith clerics, recruit warriors)
Everyone sleeps through this but SMIG wakes up suddenly!! no one on watch! wth
Smig wakes up Nin to help look for Valon with him.
Nin just vanishes into the night and reappears with Valon who says everything is fine.
Ivy is still kneeling in the snow away with her new book from the queen.
Smig gets Valon to tuck him in so he can go back to sleep

Dorbin hommuclus is hungry and pushing dorbin for feed time.
Smig asks Ivy how she is feeling.
Ivy struggles to answer. She is confused. Silently staring at the book.
Ivy doesn’t know how to explain to people and looks for Valon for aid.
Ivy explains some of what happened.
Smig casts detect magic on the book and it is imbued with necromantic magical properties.
Valon says it is not always easy to hear what my mistress has to say and the turn of events is not always what you expect.
Khashana tries to fill saddlebags with snow! it’s so exciting!
2 weeks journey to Silverymoon.

Jeth and Ivy pray together. Ivy goes on about the human sick book which makes Jeth not so thrilled. Jeth is very interested in the contents of the books. feeling a need for something with how close they keep getting to death.
Jeth and Ivy will read the book together and Jeth will take notes!
Smig remembers his flamethrower. Smig wakes up Dorbin and mentions how patient he has been and asks her the flamethrower to be made.
Dorbin figures out parts of it and needs more info from silverymoon.
Smig falls asleep.
Khashaana Walks out in the morning and hears some owls. Goes to visit. . Fails miserably.

Dorbin remembers a mifflin. a feature of ancient elven cities. technology/magic that is an antimagic field that is not always active. no magic at all while active. very few places have this. Many elvish cites existed as placenames. Some elvish cities have the word “miff”. Myth.?

THey don’t talk about merkel here. They HAVE heard of kelemvor but they are not supposed to talk about it because it’s not good for business. The temple is there but in ruins for ages.
I freak out about nature. no talking trees but there is a city garden.
Jeth asks for an inn. 20% off inn nearish from Kaisa.
asks for a tip. Ivy and Jeth are nice and give it.
tell them that we are here with the waterdog entourage. and gives us more discount.

Smig asks for the name and they are dodgy.
Elof the city person who gave us odd directions.
Through crowded streets. Nervous, horrfied. too many people. pull off into alley with safira and gloop. feeling sick. navigate and sticking close to edge of buildings. gathering some strange looks.
Finally make it to trees and pond and birds. Frogs in the pond. Gloop sings to the other frogs. sit by the pond with Gloop singing. Safira lounged next to me.
Khashana is breathing. centering herself again.
Smig goes to get hats. Goes to buy hats for Gloop, Safira and everyone else.

Dorbin makes a new friend in trying to make a flamethrower. Spreads the word of Kelemvor.
Dorbin needs to be carfeul about the flamethrower because only high level gnomish are allowed to use these.

Smig and Dorbin run into each other.
Jeth and Ivy go to the temple quarter. First some smaller deities, flowers, etc.
Then bigger temples show up until they find a razed area where the kelemvor used to be.
The goddess of all magic walks over and askes what they are looking for.
Ivy shows off her kelemvor tats and they bond over the destroyed temple. :(
They ask what Ivy’s intentions are. it’s been ages since they’ve seen kelemvor followers. What happened?
Ivy lightley explains some things
The temple ruin is disheartneing and also inspiring to Ivy.
The portfolio of the goddess of death has changed,. Raven queen, merkel, kelemvor. about a year ago, the temple was blasted by a divine blast.The followers perished. This person lays flowers. Would do more but no magic.
Ivy tries not to show the welling in her eyes over the death of her fellow clerics.
Much of the rubble was cleared away and she grabs something that they found. Tarnished set of scales matching the symbol on Ivy’s book and shows off a altar in the rubble. This person was friendly with the head cleric of kelemvor. She shows where the item used to rest and gives it to Ivy.
The space is holy and no one owns it, not even the city so the faithful may do whatever they want with it. Ivy is content.
Ivy’s looking at the altar. It’s still fairly okay and pushes on the scale. Ivy gets on her knees and starts a prayer. The scales suddenly tilt and even themselves out.
Jeth will join Ivy in her prayer on the other side of the scales.
Ivy prays in celestial based off of the fact that the book was written in celestial.
Jeth knows the gist of what Ivy has been saying and after some time, Jeth suddenly also is able to understand celestial and can also speak it now!!
Leaving the scales at the temple. They should be safe. Start to rebuilding what was destroyed.
Jeth asks for a formal dedication ceremony to Kelemvor. Jeth thinks the signs are pointing him to Kelevor and would like to pledge. Ivy is thrilled.
