Dorbin makes a little safe sanctum for us to rest. Khashana grows the grass inside (which will magical appear when the sanctum ends) (mostly mushroom.)
Mushrooms, mushrooms everywhere. translucent overgrown mushroom. Turquoise pods. nice area for lounging in. Mushroom tendrils invades everyone’s spaces. whoops.
Dorbin makes potions and cool gear for:

Give khashana. 2nd lvl healing word.

Ivy= Invisibility
Ivy is praying hard. faint voice in her head “I am listening” no other response but that was something!!
Jeth sorts through his knowledge and asks Ivy if he can join her in prayer. (new to this!)
Ivy guides Jeth in prayer and faith and kelemvor. Feels Kelemvor needs some support now!
Dorbin is ready to go!
Ivy is so excited that Jeth bonded with her and her god. Ivy has cool candles. three wick black candle with Kelemvor symbol on it. It drips onto one of my mushrooms!! :(
Khashana checks her mushrooms one more time and pet them before leaving.
Smig gets up from power nap. stares at new ring, Very excited about it.

The blue skinned creature in the front is a tiefling. Ivy recognize it as “a horned sister” from her research. this is a teifling in service of one of the lords of hell. Tasked with capturing souls and bringing them back to serve.
Looking for easily captured targets to bring back to hell for eternal servitude and torture.
Jeth needs to pray more! Is this the hand of Kelemvor??
Smig casts sleep on the construct and the tiefling. Once the tielfing falls asleep, the constructs freeze.
Smig wants to look at the blackguard closer. A brightness from a construct is strong and blinds Smig.
He lets us know and tells us about the blindness. I sneak over and cure it. Smig grabs something from the blackguard.
WE book it out of there! Don’t wanna be there when the tiefling wakes up.
Smig brings out the note he found. Written in common, listing of about 20 place names. some crossed off. Swamp area is on there (crossed off). Shrine in mithril hall there too (not crossed off). Possibly a list of places to investigate (for shrines?)
Ivy looks to see if any of the shrines there are temple of kelemvor. (some merkel shrines were changed to kelemvor)

Jeth asks Khashana if she is adjusting to the cave and the mushrooms and Khashana goes off on Ivy for the waxed dripped mushroom. She also apologizes for yelling at her as the cave is getting to her. Ivy does apologize, it was a mistake.
We start to hear frog sounds. Khas feels better.

Ivy thinks they are truly just frogs. White throater croaker. Albino cave frog.

Khashana attempts to speak with frog.
Frog doesn’t have much intelligence. 1 word speech. It lets me touch it and I beast sense it.
I start to understand the frog chorus and conversations they are having. I pick up on the tones but I do not notice anything odd or unusual around this room. I ask name. he tells me. it is a unhuman name. I call him Gloop. I ask gloop if he wants to come with me. He jumps on. I am walking around with him and synched with him.
Ivy slightly recognizes the deity of the shrine we find.
As we continue down the caves, Gloop’s connection with Khashana is amazing and overwhelming. Sensory high overload.
Khashana hears in the frog chorus. Hear a more resonating base noise that is extended and vibrates more. Brief pause in the frog chorus.
I asked gloop if “friends?” in the next cave.
Gloop says friends and food.
I tell the group sorta and head towards the cave. Communication is odd for me while linked with Gloop.
I sense the shape of a skull. I pick up a skull from this hidden mushroom section and give it to IVY.
Ivy senses that the skull. Duragar. been here for a while.
NO magic. just a skull.
As Khashana rounds the corner, there is a slight incline and a brook.
bigger variety of bigger frogs. Possibly bigger species. Hear more deeper croaks.
Smig recognizes that there is a pattern to the croaks.
I bring gloop closer to big frog (who is not "frog people). It tries to eat gloop. I punched the big frog (to death… whoops)
Gloop runs back to me.
Cannibalisms.
I head to the next bigger cave with gloop. I almost trip.
We continue hearing patterns of interesting croaks. Digeridoo croaks and patterns about.
Hear an insanely deep bellowing coming from there.

Ivy tries to see how may be there. Vibing with Khas. 6-8 of those deep bellowing things.
Singular point of focus for that last bellow. Ivy explains to group.
Khasahana walks into the cave with Gloop.
Noise is all encompassing. Gloop joins in the chorus. Gloop is communicating like how a wolf would communicate. Angry, pointed visceral tone.
First time seeing a tall humanoid shape frog people with spears and rudementary cloithing. beetle shells as armor. in the far end of the cave, GIANT mutant, tentacle frog creature.

I gently put gloop down when I see that we are going to be attacked.
Khashana cast Animal Frienship at the frog people. it fails but ALL the little frogs notices and are my friends.They try to help but they are very small.
Glowing throat of frog. Specific song echoes in the cave. Jeth hates it and it really messes him up but it’s not terrible for me.
Frog comes up to Khas and sings a different song.
two natural 20s! Khas is happy.
Froghemoth stands up and spits out some bone thing…
Smig casts thunderclap and takes out a bunch of the frogs! (and kills gloop and all my frog friends?
as Smig kills the whole population of frog. Known as the great smig ____
Khashana is crying. The beauty of the frogs, their song, their friendship and protection. Gloop.
Dorbin takes out a bottle of wine and tosses it into the water and we all water walk.
Khashana, completely distressed, risks attacks to run back and find Gloop.
Searching for him desperately, casting mind out and channel intense focus and spiritualty to find him. For a brief second, I connect with a frog god. A newfound druidic connection with a frog god.
natural 20. I find gloop’s dead body. Khas holds him and cries.
casts conjure animal. giant frog. lvl5 16 frogs. 1 to attack smig. 15 frogs hit froghemoth. Smig frog misses.

and bury gloop properly. all the other frogs in the enriched land. bury each one. Safira helps dig the holes while i put in the bodies.
