Suddenly a ‘cave kraken’ appears from the ceiling.
bearshana gets grabbed and dragged by the roper.
Strong, leathery, gross.
Smig ruptures earth and raises the platform up to the roper. bearshana can smash.
The roper seems sad. we killed it before I could talk to it.
Jeth gets the killing blow!
Smig opens up the roper’s stomach. It is soooo gross.
but we find one of the blackguards that we were chasing. Good job roper!
WE hear a woman’s voice calling out to the group as we investigates the cave kraken/roper (voice through the dead roper)
“First introduction to each other. You’ve managed to foil my attempts enough at this point, that I need to be involved. “Valon, you little shit, are you around?”
I was hoping to hold off on an invitation to this group until more things were ready. but if you are so keen on visiting the court of bones, maybe I should extend an invitation now if you can escape this cave.

There is a hierarchy in the court of bones. triangle. three generals. 1 top, 2 lesser.
Dorbin takes a guess that Valon’s sister is the point of the triangle. One lower point would be the flaming rider from gnome place.
How was one able to talk through a corpse. That’s new. Ivy tries to figure it out.

Smig asks Valon if there is anything we should know about his sister.

I fear that parents dissapeared because they went looking for sister when she didn’t want to be found.
Insanely adept at magic did a quest and possibly found something that corrupted her.
And now here we are. Merkel… we all seem to play a role in this.
First time Valon has ‘spoken’ with her since she went missing.
Ivy says something and valon gets in her face. Valon is angry. Nin inserts herself between Valon and Ivy. It was a misunderstanding says Ivy. Something else is bothering Valon…

Khashana wishes to accept the invitation because she thinks the court of bones must be going to mire and she wants to find her dragon!!

enter the next exit. Low ceiling, leads to another chamber.

east is warmer and slopes down. north has hammering noise.
Khas gives in to north but hopes that there will be a path to the east eventually.
fungus. in this cave. mining carts and work bench. muffles talk further in the chamber

The dwarves double in size and start coming at me! saying something
Jeth and Ivy hear this. “halt, what creature is this?” drawing weapons.
Jeth comes to khshana and puts his hand on her and puts his hands up and apoligizes in dawrvish.
Khashana bows her head down and covers her head with her paws.
The dwarves ask Jeth why he comes to their home speaking the language of ’those who have abondened us and what do you seek?"
“tries to learn as many languages as he can to speak to as many as he can. Has not had the opportunity to learn theirs. Here by accident. looking to go home”
The two duaguar aren’t thrilled. still keep their hands on their weapson. possibly calling for back up but welcome Jeth! (good job Jeth)

‘words with the chosen …. that drow have taken captive of a surface elf. he don’t want anything to do with drow (rude word)
there are multiple paths, each will cost.

-get given to fire giants
-save their fallen comrades from the frog people (they will give us passage past fire giants)
Their clerics and escorts have not returned. Find out what happened and free their shrines.

WE Short rest. No more possible to catch the blackguard but if the drow have it as a slave, we should be okay. we will meet more anyways.

Khashana asks how valon is doing (nat 20!!)
tried so hard to believe that there was still good in sister and that i can save her.
I should have been focused on her. but was focused on someone else.
when my search first started for my sister, I met up with a group with a common goal. Got close with the group and one of them died. I unknownliogy made a pact to resurrect her but it didn’t go as planned and now I’m trying to fix it.
Found family member that I did wrong vs family member that I ignored.
Possibly lead his sister into this path by not paying attention to her.
