Tomithy is all grown up. I still don't understand why I can understand Celestial but this time of being able to protect this little creature through our adventures has been very comforting.
Vippi is amazing. Tupper is safe again. I will say this just confuses me on the whole life and death thing however... Vippi has left to go back to their work and it feels empty and lonely now. Vippi was kinda my first real 'after' friend.
there is a kid here who seems not really part of the main group. Doesn't really seem to fit in with anyone here. I get that. He is so determined to come with us on this dangerous adventure. I know this might be dangerous for him but he really seems to need answers and who am I to stop someone in need of finding their place? He is going to go no matter what. I mean look at us, we never listen to warnings. Isn't he just like us?

Pel wants to bunk with us. we say no. I will walk him to the house. Harvey makes a joke about us living in his house, he is thrilled.
5:45am. at the inn. meeting.
If he is going to travel with us, I would like to undisguise self. AS a warning. Travelling and adventures are dangerous and playing with life and death doesn't always work out.

I hold him so he feels my cold. and I drop disguise self. Not all of us come back from these.
Pel blanches and turns white. AS I drop my hold of him and start to leave, Pel grabs my hands and tells me 'we have so much to find out. maybe what we find can save you." he is SOOOOO overjoyed and excited and happy. Kas is conflicted. Someone reacted positibley to her. but also scared of his obsession of life and death.
Kas wants to find a bird's eye view of both Pel's house and the tavern so she can walk them both. watch through the night. "make out spot" can see the river. watching people make their way into their homes and to lorna's stead for food. snowfall of petals around the building.

Paws is a little freaked out about kas not being there. Paws knows who the last person kas was with. She goes to tell Valon that she is going out to find Kas.
AS valon opens the doors, she sees valon with a bunch of flowers and a knife.
Paws questions it but valon doesn't wanna share. it's okay.
Valon sends Ori with Paws.

I don't see Paws searching for me yet. It's dark and she has a bird. that's odd.
Paws knocks on Pel's house. nope. not here.

Paws srpints up to me. I tell her that I showed Pel my self. and I'm confused by his reaction. i tell her. I'm happy but also worried.
Paws goes home then. can't sleep, goes to ask valon if she can sleep in his room.
Valon takes teh ravenqueen ring and put it on the mirror with flowers and tries to talk to it.

I don't know much about religion. slices hand and dribbles blood on the flowers.

as the blood drips from his hand, his hears it tap tap tap as it drips and starts to pool inside of the ring. Ori returns on the other side of the window and is tapping in tune with the plink sound of the ring. Valon connects with ori to see but Ori is with Kas right now. This raven that he thought was ori at his window stops tapping and slips through the panes of teh glass. opens its mouth wide. cawing ragged noise. opens wider and wider and it's mouth flips back and a lady emerges (pale face, feather, half beak)
It very refreshing to have this direct level of communication with someone who I care about very deeply. WHom i'm very interested in.
Valon is kinda in shock. not sure what to do so he walks up and kneels in front of her then stands up.

'perhaps, whatever happens. I have a condition. you are not to interfere in whatever plans that you may become aware of. Whatever agents you may meet that are working for merkel. It is not your place to interfere. Your collegeus too. I have a great interest in another. I would like to see what happens without your interference.

As valon is processing, he hears a tapping at the door. Paws yelling.She gets really worried about Valon. Paws has her blanket on her and a pillow.

I watch the town and pel's house.
Harvey sleeps poorly and wakes up. Can't remember what was the dream and felt like a hard's days of work. Wakes up FAMISHED. goes inside to find food.
Lots of eating. all the loaf is gone. hungry. finds a wheel of cheese. not usually your thing, lctose intorerant, eats the whole cheese. finds the leftover stew, scrapes it down, finds hard appels at a bottom of barrel, all eaten. still hungry but maybe can go sleep. head back to krik and krak, restless sleep. the memory of raiding the food stores feels faint/faded. was it real? was it a dream? wakes up with everyone else.
when I see paws zoomies, I start my trek down the mountain.
How is harvey's stomach? bloated . looking for a nice worm.
I did see in the night that there was some movement from the stables to the inn and back but meh, nothign to be worried.,
I see Pel get out of his house right on time and gets to the stables. He see me walking down and waves to me.
Pel says "i;ve never been to vermilon before but I do know the general direction. It's pretty good hunting ground so people do go into the general area but not long or too close."

All quiet. no one else on the road. A few wildlife.

I worry about searos, ask him if he is sure that he wants so much time alone and for so long. He says he is fine with company. I will stay up 1st shift with searos and sleep second..
Searos hears snapping of wigs furthur in the woods. something is around.
Searos gestures for kas to stay and heads over to the sound. Constantly looking back at the fire. Another twig snap. in the gleant from the fire of searos's head. He thinks he catches a glint on metal that vanishes as soon as he sees it. searos yells and screams and runs away to camp.
we all wake up alarmed.

Harvey dream's that he is running on really powerful limbs, crashing through the forest, searching for something.
I notice Harvey's feet twitching restlessly. but the rest is uneventfull.
Paws and Valon notice harvery's feet twitching. they think it's weird but think about showing him some stretches for next time.
Valon and Paws talk about kelemvor
Valon asks oaws about kelemvor and why she thought of him about a death god. paws explains what little she knows about this god. "a good god of death". skelton in the symbol.
Met some clerics over time. they were all very nice. some sort of relationship.
Valon accepts this. 'So.... not so concered about merkel. thinking about if I go back on my word with my queen. Is there someone else out there who can save Kas??
I have this mace right? Kas is already dead. Maybe a good god of death is abetter solution that the raven queen. Paws thinks it is possible. It does need permission.

Loud piercing CAW from harvey as he sits upright and bolts for the woods and then stops motionless at the very end of the forest line. and slo9wly as they both look at him, he slowly awakens facing a darkened forrest slowly becoming light and the day dawn. A new day.
