The standard calendar used by the Monarchy of Alvarium and most of the other major powers follows the phases of the moon (a full cycle of the moon lasting 30 days).
A full year consists of 12 months.
Each month consists of 5 weeks.
Each week consists of 6 days.
The first three months of the year make up spring, the next three months are summer, the next three autumn and that last three winter.
