Half Elf - Seaborn

Walking in two worlds but truly belonging to neither, half-elves combine what some say are the best qualities of their elf and human parents: human curiosity, inventiveness, and ambition tempered by the refined senses, love of nature, and artistic tastes of the elves.

Those born to sea-elf parents have a 50% change of being naturally amphibious. And many of those who are choose to live their lives below the waves. Sea-elves pregnant by a human will leave the ocean until after the birth of the child, to prevent the risk of their drowning upon birth.

Things Everyone Knows (That May or May Not Be True)

Half-elves that are sea-born are doubly blessed (or doubly cursed, depending on who you ask) for having a dual nature of both the land and the sea. And they’re rare, so one rarely knows if the rumors about them being a bit...weak. Or fickle. Or unable to stick to anything, well...it’s just so hard to say whether or not they’re true, right? And after all, their other parent did decide to have relations with a drybreather so...one has to wonder if they were quite right in the head either. On the other hand, there are several ballads about famous half-sea elf heroes. IF they aren’t a wastrall or a vagrant...they have, in the past, been known for great deeds. Hm.
