Nix grew up an urchin on the streets and Drakkenheim with Candy and Jake who were like family to him. There are rumors they've survived and are still around somewhere.  A gym-bro rival named Brand sent Nix on a wild goose chase to Altburg. What a jerk.

A Clue from Brand the Lunk-headed Queen's Man

In Session 7 Brand smirked as he told Nix that, yes, he'd seen Candy, but refused to say more. Nix needs to follow up on this clue, but knows full-well that Brand will torture him anyway possible.

The old Hendrix Farm

Hendrix Farm

Nix found Candy at the old Hendrix Farm, but he also found a group of brainwashed cult Followers of the Falling Fire. This cult is said to take a pilgrimage into Inner Drakkenheim where they shove a piece of delerium into their chests.

Nix was shocked, saddened and confused by this encounter. Candy was always the sensible one.

On the way back to Emberwood Nix vowed to Unknown and thereby rescue Candy.

Oscar's Research - Siphon Contamination

Oscar Yoren seems to have uncovered the knowledge necessary to remove monstrous contamination from a creature and Nix has dedicated himself to learning the spells required.

OOC and Above Table - this is annoying because he will need to learn something like 3 spells that have little utility for a warlock and that means sacrificing slots for others.
