Sara is a tall, willowy black woman with skin the color of café au lait. She wears her glossy hair in long braids with beads worked into them. As the niece of Ophelia Reed, she has always felt called by the Sacred Flame. She served as an acolyte in the small village of Tierhaven near the Achtungwald Forest, performing weddings, offering the healing and peace of the Flame, and even serving as midwife's assistant and babysitter from time to time. She has recently been called to serve as a Flamekeeper and has been accompanying her aunt on her journey with the Knights of the Silver Order. The tenets of the order appeal to her, but as she is not a knight or paladin, she cannot join. So she serves as a cleric, giving spiritual comfort and healing to people she sees as great heroes.
A recent meeting in Emberwood Village sparked memories from her past, resulting in a too-brief reunion with someone she remembers as a child.
