The Fight Begins

As we reposition, the troops move in towards the house, and some of them find our traps in the high grass. Some die impaled.

Nonu and Verla work together to throw three burning crates from the roof and onto our attackers. One hits a henchman, one hits Tutuq's second in command, to which he responds with a growling "Learn to dodge". Tutuq takes the next crate to the face. Guess he should have learned to dodge.

The fight goes on for a while, Verla gets off the roof.

Nonu is the first one unconscious and she falls off the roof. 

Fearrond falls where the rest of us cannot see him, but we get to him before he dies for good.

In the end, as fire rages in the grasses, fog envelops the area from Dago's magic, and many of our people are on the verge of death or bloodied, we take down Tutuq, who is paralyzed by Tallbeck and beaten by Verla who's standing over Nonu. Then we closed the door behind him and some of the aggressors begin to scatter.

Mitr goes out to find Fearrond who had fallen where the rest of us cannot see him, but we get to him before he dies for good.

We sit down and discuss what to do with him as the loyal followers he had left sit on the hill outside.
