Tritons are a subrace of the merfolk-human hybrid, but are rarely refered to as half Human nor half Merfolk.
They mostly reside in the holy water hole and almost all of them are freshwater people.
Tritons are seen as a higher being with most of their culture based on protecting the holy ruins of Deenja, and thus very few of them ever leave their home in the lake.
They are a head or three taller than most people in the area seeing as most other races are Grung and Halfling.
Tritons helped the halfling population rise up as the tritons are resistant to the poison of the frog people nad with their superior body strength, they succeeded many generations ago.
