He is a Goblin-Orc monstrosity known for his wrath and evil. Nobody, who is still alive, knows his name, and he has thus been dubbed The Goblin King. Most see him as a myth, or in some case a villain, with a fearsome reputation for artists. His goons pick out artists around the world, force them to do portraits of him, take the art piece, and then kill the artist to remove the trail. They do this to strike fear in the hearts of people, and to amass respect and a following. This following is mainly goblin based, but the amount of people of other races are growing, and especially old Grung are a part of this. Those are mostly for their own history’s reasons such as wanting to have the upper hand over others again.
Where The Goblin King is located is a mystery, but every once in a while a few of the portraits of him appear in new places around the world. It started in Fui Ley, then detectives found more popping up in, especially, Masuul, and then he expanded his reach.
There are rumors about why his portraits show up in these different places - some say it’s a trail of where he has been in person, some say it’s to deter detectives from finding him, some say it’s a way of recruiting, and others say it’s a sign of him having done something vile in the area around that time. The latter means that whenever something bad happens, self-made detectives and conspiracy theorists frantically look for a new portrait of him in the area.
There is also an ongoing theory that the Goblin King is not real, and the portraits are anarchists who teamed up with local artists to make a movement or simply because they are young and bored.
The most recent theory, however, is that he is almost done collecting his troops, and will soon reveal his identity and location, from where he will declare war against Fui Ley to either make it a united monarchy or to “simply” overtake Jinbul and become a real king as his title suggests.
