Background
A NYC Native, Rosa was born into the mean streets. While the Ramirez Proximi family is an important one, her section of it was excommunicated for her father's unwillingness to follow the family tradition of organized crime. He moved his family to NYC where Rosa and her sister Maritza were born. Her father and mother both sadly disappeared at some point in Rosa's life leaving her and her baby sister in their grandmother's care. Rosa was doing great but sadly her families history caught up to her and Rosa came home to help defend her neighborhood from a gang that threatened to flood the neighborhood with Drugs. She did what she had to do, and that resulted in her Awakening. Shortly after a new gang Las Chica's was born with the lofty goal of defending their home from outsiders. Sadly that meant they had to make deals with the devil and they too became a bit of a blight on their home.
More recently she has managed to get herself out of the gang, but she has kept tabs on it and the neighborhood...so is she really out of the picture or is she just controlling things from the shadows? She is engaged to Ana Frost, and has formed a cabal with her and Tara Perez, the Saints are simply put dedicated to improving the city. Sometimes the best way to improve your city is by putting holes in the people harming it!
Description
She is a giant, Standing 7'2" she is often described as a mountain. While not extremely muscular she is strong and seeing the big woman move around her small food truck is always amusing. She never dresses up unless Ana makes her, usually her clothes are simple and comfortable. She is sometimes seen with her face painted in a skull pattern when her cabal is serving in an official capacity amongst the Consilium or at Free Council meetings.
Personality
Rosa is a relaxed chill woman. She seems to let most things just roll off her. She doesn't sweat the small stuff. She also has a certain maternal string to her. Her Abuelita is the kind of woman to never let someone go hungry if she can help and she has 100% passed that down to Rosa who loves to cook and feed people. It's how she tends to make up for most things...food, big ole plates of food. Otherwise she is protective, supportive, and honestly doesn't have a bad word to say about anyone unless you give her a reason to say shit about you. She has had to put on an intimidating front before, but doesn't do as much these days.
