The Rookery is a veteran cabal that's been around for a few years now. Founded by Magpie, Jackdaw, and Raven. Later they would add the sisters Rook and Jay to round out their Cabal. They specialize in securing and recovering artifacts. There are very few places the Cabal cannot get into. The Cabal also tends to owe it's allegiance almost 100% to the Mysterium with Raven being the highest ranking member of the cabal in the order.

Background: Detective Esme Robinson is the daughter of a cop who decided that was the best path for her. She worked her way up through the ranks from a nobody beat cop to a well respected Detective in the NYPD. She works in Homicide but is known to assist with other mage problems. As a result people tend to whisper she's corrupt which she leans into as it makes her laugh. She is currently engaged to Jackdaw is well known as someone who is helpful to her fellow Mages.

Background: Originally from Fairview, West Virginia. Wren is a young woman with a knack for getting into places she shouldn't. Wren is from a prestigious Proximi family with the somewhat legendary figure of Mrs. Winchester as her great grandmother. Wren came to New York and built up a reputation of being helpful and most of all useful to the mage community. She is currently engaged to Raven.
Gennady "Magpie" Sorokov

Background: An NYC native, Magpie knows the city inside and out. Rescued by the Mysterium after a robbery, and subsequent Awakening, went south, he's been a loyal, if not controversial member of the Mysterium for his entire Awakened life. As an open member of the Nighthawks, he's had his share of prejudice thrown his way, and yet people still come to him when they need something recovered. Lately, Magpie has started to delve into making magical items of his own.
