Mask
To mortal eyes, Decker Valentine is a man caught in the fringe between outlaw and folklore. Lean, long-limbed, and dark-eyed, his features are sharp but expressive—handsome in a way that suggests long nights and longer silences. His voice is low, measured, and shaped by miles of lonely roads and unspoken truths.
He dresses in a modern reinterpretation of old western practicality: a dark duster coat when the weather permitted, scuffed boots, jeans, button-downs, and the ever-present wide-brimmed hat that keeps his eyes in shadow. When he's on the Job or on the Hunt, His gear is utilitarian, with just enough charm to make him stand out—like a revolver holster too antique to be real, or a bandolier filled with what might be bullets… or bones.
He moves like someone who’s always expecting trouble—and knows exactly what to do when it finds him.
Mien
In the Hedge, Decker’s mien is a dusk-born wraith of justice and retribution. His body is carved from stone-baked earth and burned horizon—skin fractured like parched clay but shadow-smooth where the light bends. His eyes, once brass, now flicker with a slow, ember-glow—measuring, calculating, waiting.
The noose at his hip glows faintly in the Hedge, its fibers etched with symbols of judgment, and it pulses like a heartbeat when near the guilty. Around his neck, a halo of old bruising—ghost-thin rope burn—remains visible at all times, a badge of the executioner who survived his own hanging. Dust and ash still trail from his boots, but now the wind behind him carries the scent of dry rot and pine—the scent of graveyards and gallows.
Notable Traits
* Court Goodwill (All) 2 - Decker's known as a stable hand within the Courts, though he holds no affiliation but to himself... for now.
* Anonymity 2 - Like the Man with No Name, Decker is a hard man to find any real information on. He's largely becoming a ghost
* Hob Kin - Decker, despite his initially menacing demeanor, is a mainstay ranger of the hedge and easily forges relationships with local hobs.
