Abby Monte

The Mundane

Abby Monte presents as a blind woman who is seemingly extremely comfortable with her condition and aware of how to move in her surroundings with it. She gives off some vague hippie vibes in the way she dresses and generally seems to have a pleasant demeanor if not somewhat quiet and reserved.  She also seems to enjoy music, especially instrumental.

Holly Harmony

Holly Harmony (Alt ID 2) is the current name that Abby operates under for anything related to her mundane work, which is producing and selling sound effects. She has quite the reputation for being able to capture a wide variety of sound effects with a startlingly realism and clarity. 

The Monster

Abby has been in New York since the mid-50s as an aspiring DJ for the budding radio scene. By the late 60s she had become deeply entrenched in the music scene and even had a hand in setting up Woodstock. She was turned by a rogue Nosferatu during Woodstock (1969) and while her sire was ashed for his actions, she was taken under wing by a Carthian Nos after deciding that Movement spoke to her most. 

She became blind in the mid-70s after being brought into her adoptive sire's bloodline. While she feigns at being rather passive, there are plenty of rumors that have spiraled about her for the decades about being a rather cold and calculating hunter as well as an ace up the Movement's sleeve for certain situation. 

When St. Mary's happened she was in New Jersey for some work and even though she came back as soon as she heard what was going on, it was too late to save her sire or do more than try to help in the aftermath.  

Hooks

• Blind as a Bat - Literally. Though sightless, Abby seems to have little trouble 'seeing' when it comes to her surroundings, though this often doesn't extend to the actual people in the room. That's what the walking stick and listening is for. 
• Sound/Music Lover - Abby loves music - especially the instrumental parts. She also has a fascination with sound in general and is always on the lookout for the new and unusual. 
• Carthian Movement - Abby has been with the Movement since the 70s and though she goes through varying degrees of publicly active, someone always knows how to get in touch with her to call on her unique talents. 
• Been Around Awhile- Likewise, Abby has been in NYC since the mid-50s. If you've been around, then you probably know her or at least know of her. Always happy to talk connections, even if loose. 
• Nightly Walks - Abby always starts her night off with a walk to somewhere in the city, usually somewhere in The Bronx, and then decides where else and what else to get up to. Maybe you've joined her on one, or run into her during one. 
• Hunting Partner  - While Abby typically relies on her Herd for regular feeding, she seems to get some enjoyment out of supporting the Hunt for others....usually because it involves her getting to torment and harry the poor soul into the waiting arms of the Kindred she's aiding.
