Of the three Dukes of the Underworld that vie for control of Imea, Domina Auctoritas proudly proclaims their allegiance to the Merciful Maiden. They regularly perform raids along the coast of Ezeth and inland to capture unwitting souls to use as fuel for the zealous crusade against the dragons of Cadrin. There is a tentative peace between Domina Auctoritas and the other two militaries underneath the other two Dukes, if only for their reputation as brutal, bloodthirsty, and vindictive. United against a common enemy, they remain non-hostile towards other demons and devils of Imea. It's a gamble of threes which faction of devils one has been captured for, but all three of them use 'lesser' non-demons as slaves, with demons ranking just above them. Hierarchy is crucial to understanding Domina Auctoritas and the other two factions, as Dukes rank above devils, rank above demons, rank above half-devils, rank above half-demons, rank above mortals.

After making a deal with the Baroness of Crookstone, Lady Liavaris Fliarinn, Domina Auctoritas was granted access to the lower part of Crookstone to investigate a layline discovered underneath the city, along with unusual disturbances. It was later uncovered that this arrangement came about after numerous threats to the city itself, and the Baroness agreed to let them take some lower city individuals as slaves and investigate the mine in order to prevent a full-scale invasion into the city from Domina Auctoritas. This is in addition to the occasional kidnappings, piracy, and trafficking that goes on along the coast between Ezeth and Imea. While they have been expelled from the city for now, it is only a matter of time before they learn of the dissolution of an entire unit and the death of the general Grumax at the hands of the Dust Devils.
