North's origins are not hammered out for me, but all he remembers is the cult of druids he grew up in. this cult wasn't the worst, and it wasn't the best, but the worst part was when The Son entered the picture. He was a sign of the end of the world to them.
Eventually, the cults actions attracted attention from authorities - theyre kind of like, eco-terrorist druids alright. When a night raid occured, North located The Son and fucked off with him as quickly as possible. They are two little freaks who live in the woods now, North keeping the little sign of the end of the world out of reach of those who'd like to use him for their own agenda. He loves The Son, and sees him as a child first and foremost and as a catalyst for the end of the world as a secondary thing hes got going on.
He mostly makes money off of being, basically, the local witch. he can make you a potion, do a little spellwork for you, and both he and the son know a lot about wildlife and how to forage that they can sell as well.
