A former member of the Hare Clan, the clan's dissolution has resulted in him becoming a ronin. Joining together with some of his former clansmen they had turned to banditry in the mountain passes near Mura Sabishii Toshi. When they attacked the party they were defeated and wished only for death to relieve them of the shame of what they had become. The party instead offered them a chance to help in the fight against Kitsu Sokori and attempt to redeem the honor of the Hare in opposing the maho-tsukai.
