Cold as ice, Hajime received his nickname for his cool, detached demeanor. When defending himself from an attack resulted in removing the arm of a teenage boy he simply remarked that he had eliminated the threat in the simplest, swiftest way possible. He could have killed the boy. Simply taking his arm was a mercy.
