Deaths in Shiro no Shosuro

Reported that Kiyomi had been arrested, and suggested that a second unusual death in as many days may be of interest to the magistrates.

She had been left with Yuko. Kiyomi never came to collect her, so Yuko kept her for the night, reasoning that her sister was likely in no condition to care for her. When she went to bring her home in the morning, she found that Hiroshi had been murdered and sought out the magistrates.

Let out a piercing scream before throwing herself off of the walls of the city to her death. She had no other significant wounds, although there was dried blood caked under her fingernails and recent scratches on the back of her head. She was reportedly happy and without anything in her personal life that would be likely to lead to this, according to her co-worker Yuko.

Found dead in Kiyomi's bed with her sound asleep next to him.

Kiyomi loudly insists that she didn't kill him because he wasn't worth it. Her recollection of events broadly matches that of witnesses. He was last known to be alive at approximately midnight outside of Kiyomi's home.

His neck showed clear ligature marks and general signs of death by strangulation.

The couple had been observed together earlier that same day and were later heard arguing loudly in the street by neighbors, not an uncommon occurrence.
