Leather Lamellar

This leather armour is an attempt to make the best middle ground between the protection of steel lamellar and the mobility of light armour. Like other lamellar and similar armours, it is made from many small plates, similar to that of a brigandine only on the exterior and overlapping rather than spaced out, attached with cords to a thick gambeson. In this case, the plates are cuir bouilli, in order to keep the cost down.
