The first wife of Afzal Jabbar, Fatiyah was originally betrothed to the now Chieftain's older brother to secure a truce between their tribes. With the death of her betrothed, in order to preserve the marriage contract, Fatiyah married Afzal instead. Though not a particularly romantic relationship, the two are close, with observers describing them as being more akin to close friends or siblings than a married couple. After a difficult first child, Fatiyah has not had any more children, but has taken a motherly role to many of her husband's offspring, especially Faiz Jabbar.
Possessed of a keen mind, and a cunning intuition, Fatiyah often gives advice to her husband when required, and often butts heads with the more impulsive Erastos Ironhoof and mysterious Moirin Mhic Macdha.
