Luciel I bound books for her library in the skins of executed enemies. The Codex, written by the Queen herself, was bound in the skin of Eoin the Wise, an adviser who fell from favour after opposing her more extreme decisions.
It contains spells researched by her personal wizards, many of them dangerous and concerned with death. The surviving volume is held on the fourth floor of the Grand Library.
