Gak Iroh is a red-scaled Kobold born in the slums of Mouldtown in Ādīsi Geneti. Beyond this, much of his history is nebulous at best, due to him both giving vague and contradictory information or just completely avoiding talking about it. At some point however, he founded a mercenary group nicknamed the Three G's with long-time friends Griz Threefinger and Grakm'st, and the three act as cheap guns-for-hire with Gak as their leader. Their name comes, unsurprisingly, from the fact that all three of the mercenaries have names or at least pseudonyms beginning with the letter G.
He is relatively capable, being a skilled sniper with a massive modified crossbow of apparently his own design, but much like his teammates is noted for being skilled at sowing complete mayhem but of extremely dubious skill when it comes to actually doing the job given to him properly. He is not evil so much as he is morally twisted and "chaotic stupid"; less "rebel without a cause" than "reckless without a clue".
He is also far and away the most intelligent of the three, being able to speak several languages fluently (a rarity amongst Kobolds due to linguistic differences between Yipyak and most other dialects) but is driven by avarice and selfishness, with the only people he truly cares about being himself and his teammates. Indeed, he only takes the jobs he does seriously because it is how he gets paid.
