Shadrach is a young Blue Dragonling, one of the many Dragonlings employed by the Office of the Imperial Postmaster General as part of the Dragonpost air mail service, and was born in 3A 196 in the main Dragonpost Dragonling Care Facility in Mor'Koc and named after the stalwart companion of The Unifier, the Second Emperor of the Imperial Troll Empire. He mysteriously went missing during a storm in the early spring of 3A 206 while en-route from Ska'Kil to The Imperial City of Gor’Raj’Ka. While attempts have been made to locate him, none have thus far succeeded.
Shadrach is a blue Dragonling known to have be a constant companion and close friend of B'Var Sextus, the future Second Emperor of the Trolls. B'var's interactions with this Dragonling are known to have inspired him to begin researching Dragonlings, helping create part of the foundations for the modern science of dracology, as well as inspire his creation of the Dragonpost concept. There are multiple paintings of Shadrach, many painted by B'var himself or his friends and family, and he is also depicted in B'var's official Imperial portrait as The Unifier, the Second Emperor, in which he is shown sat on his friend and master's left shoulder.
It is known that Shadrach outlived B'var by quite some time as members of the Imperial household are noted to have encountered him as late as 2A 550 (when the butler's notes mention him having been reprimanded for eating a pair of gloves belonging to the Fourth Emperor's daughter), but past that point any records of him cease and the exact fate of the Dragonling remains a mystery to historians.
