Coronation Armour of the Imperial Emperors

The Imperial coronation armour dates to the Second Age and was a gift from the last independent King of the Dwarves to mark their integration into the Empire.

The suit is an antiquated style of heavy plate armour, constructed from adamantine carved with channels forming magical patterns. These channels are inlaid with Mythril from Trollopolis and a large quantity of gold leaf. The entire suit was crafted by a highly skilled Centaur blacksmith.

It has never been worn in combat because of its impractical design, extreme weight and numerous weak points. Most notably, the joints are made of ordinary steel because of the difficulty of shaping small pieces of adamantine. Its cultural importance and ceremonial purpose provide further reason not to risk it. When not required for a coronation, the armour is displayed in a magically guarded glass case in the main hall of the Imperial Palace.
