Kamil is the husband of Aaliyah Jabbar and Chief of the Ruddybeak Tribe in the Northern Beastfolk Heartlands. He is on the smaller and scrawnier side for a Greater Catfolk, often to the butt of jokes from his father in law Afzal Jabbar and his wife's "Uncle" Erastos Ironhoof, and generally considered to be a kind and fair Chief, if not an imposing one.
Kamil and Aaliyah were a love match, which Afzal allowed despite Kamil having three older brothers in line for his chiefdom. An outbreak of the Shedding Sickness unfortunately killed all three as well as his father, leaving Kamil the Chief. Him and Aaliyah have 4 children - two sons and two daughters. Their second oldest son, Mandah, has a physique more like his maternal grandfather, and before the birth of Faiz Jabbar, Afzal was considering naming the boy his heir. Despite lionfolk tradition, Kamil has no other wives.
