The Old Duchy of Balla and Tréigthe, formerly just the Duchy of Tréigthe, is the former administrative centre of the now-defunct Grand Duchy of Tir and the military hub of the Second Kingdom of Tir.
The mines in the mountains along the Manzil border to the east are the Grand Duchy's largest producers of Iron Ore and Copper Ore, as well as producing Coal, Amethyst and Jasper.
