The council handles the leadership and direction of the Empire in the Emperor's absence. Lead by The Immortal Governor it focuses on international diplomacy, major economic decisions and minimising internal distruptions. There has been frequent criticism of late however due to their seeming stagnation and inability to make actual meaningful decisions.
It is advised by the aptly-named Grand Imperial Advisory Board, which consists entirely of the Empire's hereditary nobles, including several members of the Council itself.
