The young Baron of Slat is known for being something of a drunkard and a party boy, and became Count due to the death of his parents in late adolescence some two years before the events of Tale of Tir and Nox, Part I.
After meeting Faiza al Jarawia however and falling in love with her, he cleaned up his act and quit drinking in order to not embarrass her. As such, he has gone from being an inebriated partier to an erudite, if somewhat blunt, politician.
