Rapier

As an action, you can assail a hostile creature within range of your weapon with a series of rapid, superficial strikes, putting the target on the defensive. Make an attack roll with this weapon. On a hit, the target’s mental focus shifts to defending itself. All attack rolls against the target have disadvantage until the start of your next turn, but the target has disadvantage on the next Int, Wis or Cha saving throw it makes before the start of your next turn.

When an enemy in reach misses you with a melee weapon attack, you may take advantage of their temporary imbalance with this lightning-fast weapon. You may use your reaction to make a melee attack against the creature. If this attack hits, you do not add your ability modifier to its damage.

When making an attack with a finesse weapon, you use your choice of your Str or Dex modifier for the attack and damage rolls. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.
