Coronation Swords of House Quinnlee

These are the special unique swords made for each head of House Quinnlee upon their coronation as monarch of The Kingdom of Tir. These are made in combination with the ones made for each consecutive member of the family upon their ascension to head of the House as per Elven tradition.

Of the swords made for the 14 monarchs of the Kingdom of Tir from Virion I's foundation of the Kingdom in 2A 221 to Saint Virion II's death in 2A 1500:

  • 8 of them have been apparently lost to time; in particular, Morrigan (the sword of Luciel) and Caladborg (the sword of Virion I) are of particular interest to those searching for these missing treasures of Elven history.
  • 3 are in various museums around the Imperial Troll Empire, divided up following the annexation of Tir.
  • 2 are in the protection of Marial, the current Queen of Tir, and thus on display in the Royal Residence in Réiltín.
  • Peacebringer, the sword of Saint Virion II, is currently in the Imperial Palace in The Grand City of Mor'Koc, hanging on the wall in the conference room.

Fragarach, the legendary divinely-enchanted sword of Virion I, is currently embedded in the tombstone of its former owner at The Great Henge in The Imperial Protectorate of the Kingdom of the Faerie Isle. While it is not technically a coronation sword as it predates Virion I's life and indeed much of recorded history, it is included here as it is mainly associated with Virion I and is often mistaken for his coronation sword.
