This very old greatsword was found in the corpse of Moss Piggu by Bar'T'Rd, after its death at the hands of Qau-dibab-āy'ḥāk-āy'āda, Glaw Trwm and Bar'T'Rd K'Lns.
Bar'T'Rd knew nothing of the sword's origins or true properties, only that it was considerably more solid than the old sword inherited from his grandfather. He adopted it as his main weapon, and carried it into battle till his death. The Order of Society capelet and holy symbol worn by Bar'T'Rd have since been attached to the pommel as a sign of respect.
Following this, Qau gave the sword to Oono, his squire, who used it throughout the remainder of Tale of Tir and Nox, Part II.
