The Refuge of the Sacred Heart stands in the woods just north of Síocháin. Run by the Church of Amaryllis, the Sacred Heart is run by Sister Nenet el Sabine and is a refuge and hospital for those escaping persecution, domestic abuse and slavery, alongside other individuals in need of shelter or special protections. It is situated in the buildings and grounds of a former abbey which predates the building of the one that now forms the cathedral in the city, but is still a consecrated holy site to the Church of Amaryllis and still contains a church, despite the rest of the buildings being converted to other purposes.
Notable residents besides Nenet herself include Torm Dreck, Madame Wek and a number of Nageen defectors from Manzil and their families.
