The Three Droplets

These are three islands off the northern coast of The New World, named in Greenskin for the Gifter's Three Sacred Droplets: Mother (the largest of the three islands), Dune and Foe.

Geography

The islands lay near to the mouth of the Brownblood River. Due to their location, Mother and Foe have muddy and fertile shores from the silt washed out to sea by the river. Dune, the furthest from the estuary is sandier and somewhat flatter. Foe is surrounded by a number of rocky reefs, and is the hilliest of the three, while Mother as the largest has the most plant coverage.

History

These three islands were originally discovered by Imperial explorers in the Second Age and named after the Emperor and his two favourite concubines. They were dismissed as being of low value, due to a lack of raw materials or nearby trading partners to make them worth settling, and passed into an inconsequential footnote in Imperial history.

Following Wretch's great crusade and migration eastward of the Greenskin Tribes, they were settled and renamed by Tribe Deathwater, with the city of Greenharbour being built on Mother. They are now largely populated by Greenskins and their slaves, with many dockyards constructed around the coastline. A haven for piracy, smuggling and slavery, their location between Manzil, the Yeti Republic and the Grand Duchy of Tir provides them with an opportune position to prey on trading vessels traversing the northern ocean.
