The House of Many Doors is the centre of all creation, the anchor point of the Multiverse and the private domain of Jak'ra (though not his home, as his private residence is on The Moon with his wife Amaryllis.) The house is a mirrored cube with no external doors, and one must walk into the wall to enter; they will phase through the wall, but they always end up at the far end of the throne room, directly opposite Jak'ra's throne, regardless of which side of the cube they entered through. There are five thrones - Jak'ra's throne of gold at the back of the room towering over them all; immediately to his right is the far more subdued silver throne of Amaryllis; on the right of the room The Nameless One's throne of sand and steel; and on the left the wooden throne of Leannan and the throne of Dezrael, which appears different every time one looks at it. The presence of The Nameless One and Dezrael is dependent, but due to her self-imposed isolation Leànnan's throne has been empty for over two hundred years and is covered in the cobwebs of the gemstone spider. Behind Jak'ra's throne is the Hall of Worlds, a corridor filled with an ever-changing array of doors leading to all corners of reality. The first three are always to the domains of his children, The Seelie Court, The Great Stone Tower, and The Final Puzzle, which can only be used with Jak'ra's permission, and the fourth leads to Jak'ra and Amaryllis' home on the Moon. Out of respect for Leànnan's mourning, however, her door is sealed until she feels willing to rejoin her family, whenever that may be.
