Adeem was born to a Lesser Catfolk dockworking family in Coillearnach, and learned to play the bugle in between working shifts loading and unloading barges. Unable to find work as, despite his skill, brass musicians aren't in much demand and not wanting to go back to dock work, Adeem joined the Tiran Corps of Military Musicians and was assigned to the Coillearnach regiment. Soon after the regiment was posted in Balla, he was placed in the Bard's Dungeon in the city walls due to punching a city guard while drunk. He was freed by the second Band of Misfits and helped with defeating the Fallen Angel preacher, and then rejoined his regiment - just in time for it to get routed. He is noted for having a distinctive brown charcoal pattern to his fur and a rather sarcastic and brusque personality.
