Orcs are in fact just elves who are naturally incapable of using magic without the use of arcane charges, through pacts with entities, or by having parents that are elf and orc. They have a "holy" calling to war finding their way to the north to fight off the threats found there. Green or pallid skin tones are simply an evolutionary trait to help them blend into their environment.
